impact.com in Malaysia is seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time payroll across APAC. You will collaborate with Finance, HR, and Ops to support Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Australia, working independently across borders.

You’ll own day-to-day payroll processes, run reports, and coordinate with Workday and vendors to meet deadlines. This role suits a detail-obsessed, proactive professional who values integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally multi-country APAC exposure.
• High integrity, discretion and professionalism handling confidential payroll data.
• Proactive, detail-obsessed and able to work independently across borders.
• Experience with payroll software; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; data checks and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day end-to-end payroll for multiple APAC countries (Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, China, Japan) ensuring accurate processing and deadlines.
• Own payroll issues through resolution; identify opportunities to improve processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate payroll records; ensure confidentiality and compliance with local requirements.
• Support statutory payroll requirements and submissions with tracked deadlines.
• Provide responsive payroll support to employees; resolve queries within SLAs.
