Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Payroll professional to manage multi-country payroll activities for APAC and ANZ, ensuring timely data delivery to our outsourced vendor and accurate deductions for taxes, benefits, and statutory payments.

You will implement internal controls, stay compliant with evolving payroll laws, and collaborate with regional payroll, finance, and business partners to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of multi-country payroll experience including garnishments, taxes, and local laws.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a commitment to excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Ability to manage change and re-engineer processes.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to shift priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day payroll processing for multiple countries.
• Process payroll data per prescribed timetables.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of earnings statements and payments.
• Adhere to payroll compliance and internal controls.
• Resolve payroll issues and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries on payroll, social insurance, and taxation.
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements and participate in trainings.
• Maintain payroll procedures manual and support transitions/implementation.
