Job summary

Sheffield Group is seeking a Payroll Executive in Malaysia, urgent start on short notice. You will join the Global Payroll team and manage monthly payroll for Offshore and Onshore employees, ensuring accurate processing of overtime, deductions and claims.

You will maintain payroll records, generate payslips and respond to payroll-related inquiries. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma with at least 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a global environment, and possess strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll handling and monthly processing.
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy are essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payroll for Offshore and Onshore employees using client-approved timesheets.
• Compute overtime, cash advances, claims and deductions accurately.
• Maintain bank details, crew deductions and claims in the payroll system.
• Generate cost sheets, billing sheets and payslips for stakeholders.
• Respond to crew payroll queries and provide timely payroll support.
• Produce payroll reports and customize reports to meet statutory obligations.
• Assist with personal income tax declarations and related tasks.
• Handle ad-hoc payroll activities as required by the team.
