Job summary

BD Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Customer Order Management specialist to execute order processing, coordinate with Planning, Finance and Logistics, and respond to distributor and customer inquiries. The role requires 3+ years in order management, English fluency, and flexibility to work ANZ hours in a global setting.

The position offers an opportunity to contribute to SOX/GDPMDS/ISO compliance and to develop efficiency improvements in a multinational healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BS/BA in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Logistics or related degree.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Customer Order Management.
• Able to work shift hours based on ANZ time zone.
• Knowledge of logistics processes is a requirement.
• Highly customer & business oriented.
• A good team player with ability to work cross culture.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of other Asian languages is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Analytical skills and ability to identify trends for corrective actions.
• Innovative to challenge conventional practices and suggest better approaches.
• Tenacious and resilient.
• Flexible to work in different global time zones.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage Order Processing transactions accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with Planning to ensure stock availability.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure credit release on time.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure instructions are understood.
• Handle distributors/end customers order enquiries/complaints.
• Run Open Order Status reports for distributors/end customers, Finance, Business as required.
• Coordinate distributors/end customers claims for shipping discrepancies.
