Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development leader to design and implement scalable training programs for a multi-location retail network in Malaysia. You will drive strategic planning, curriculum design, and performance analytics to elevate store operations and service standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, hospitality management, business administration, or adult education, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in operations training, L&D, or talent strategy in high-volume restaurant networks, retail, or hospitality.
• Experience with new site rollouts, multi-unit store ops, franchisee enablement, and leadership development.
• Knowledge of instructional design, classroom and field facilitation, metrics, and reporting platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills to bridge regional ops and HQ.
• Fluent English and Mandarin; regional languages advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly across regional store locations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Design and execute multi-tier training roadmaps (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Program Management: Oversee end-to-end capability-building initiatives including openings and store workflows.
• System Standardization: Upgrade learning frameworks, SOPs, and instructional workflows.
• Curriculum Design: Author, revamp, and facilitate training content for leaders and frontline staff.
• Talent Pipeline & Coaching: Lead onboarding tracks and field coaching to drive performance.
• Performance Analytics: Deploy evaluation frameworks for adoption, completion, and impact.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Field Ops, QA, SC, HR, and HQ L&D.
• External Partner Management: Identify, negotiate with, and supervise training vendors.
• Management Reporting: Synthesize training metrics and recommendations for leadership.
