Job summary

YONNY BRAND MANAGEMENT (MY) SDN. BHD. seeks a Training Manager (F&B) / Learning & Development Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training for franchisees and staff across multiple stores in Malaysia. You will lead assessments, develop trainee programs, and drive post-training outcomes.

We value strong presentation and coaching skills, with experience in F&B or related sectors, and a willingness to travel for store openings and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Admin, Hospitality, F&B, Education, or related field.
• Experience in Training, Learning & Development, Operations Training, or Talent Development.
• Experience in F&B, retail, franchise, hospitality, or multi-outlet industry is a plus.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs for franchisees, ensuring schedule and standards are met.
• Manage promotion assessments for employees in directly operated stores, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement structured training programs for Management Trainees and support trainee engagement and retention.
• Plan and execute training programs for designated trainee groups and external participants.
• Lead leadership and operational training camps for City/Regional Managers and other key roles, advising on trainee selection and development.
• Drive post-training application to improve day-to-day performance and learning outcomes.
• Develop, promote, and improve training courses, materials, assessment tools, and methodologies.
• Support implementation of new company initiatives, standards, tools, policies, and processes from Headquarters.
• Identify training needs based on business requirements and create relevant content and programs.
• Provide training support to regional offices and branches to strengthen operational capability.

Training Manager (F&B) / Learning & Development Manager

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs for franchisees, ensuring training activities are completed according to schedule and required standards.
• Manage promotion assessments for employees in directly operated stores, ensuring assessments are conducted as planned and continuously improving the assessment framework and process.
• Develop and implement structured training programs for Management Trainees, while supporting trainee engagement, development, and retention.
• Plan and execute training programs for designated trainee groups and external training participants.
• Manage leadership and operational training camps for City Managers, Regional Managers, Store Opening Trainers, and other key operational roles, including providing recommendations on trainee selection and development.
• Drive post-training implementation by ensuring employees are able to apply acquired knowledge and skills effectively in their day-to-day work.
• Develop, implement, promote, and continuously improve training courses, learning materials, assessment tools, and training methodologies.
• Conduct training and support the implementation of new company initiatives, operational standards, tools, policies, and processes introduced by Headquarters.
• Identify training needs based on business and operational requirements and develop relevant training content and programs accordingly.
• Provide training support and professional guidance to regional offices, business units, and branches to strengthen operational capability and address specific training needs.
• Work closely with Operations and other key stakeholders to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes.
• Promote and demonstrate the company’s corporate culture, values, vision, and business objectives through training and daily work practices.

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, F&B Management, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Training, Learning & Development, Operations Training, or Talent Development.
• Experience in the F&B, retail, franchise, hospitality, or multi-outlet industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Able to develop training materials and deliver training to employees at different levels.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and expanding business environment.
• Willing to travel when required to support store openings, regional teams, and training activities.
