Job summary

Deel is seeking an experienced Senior Operational Risk professional to lead daily risk workstreams, translate policies into actionable tools, and drive end-to-end risk assessments in a global payroll/HR environment. You will embed risk considerations into product and engineering changes, while leveraging AI and low-code automation to improve governance.

The role emphasizes hands-on risk program delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and building scalable reporting to support senior leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating in operational risk, business operations, RevOps, or top-tier consulting.
• Experience with risk programs (RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, third-party risk, resilience, or change risk).
• Proficient in documenting data and producing leadership-ready risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day execution of operational risk workstreams (Resilience, Product Ops, Third-Party).
• Turn policies and guidance into usable tools for the business.
• Drive risk assessments, control identification, and evidence collection end-to-end.
• Facilitate cross-functional risk sessions and land action items with owners.
• Build data, KRIs, and dashboards; implement automation where needed.
