Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering background in electronic consumer industry with 10 years.
• Proven track record of managing first tier suppliers and supply chains.
• Proven project management skills with action and recovery plans, focusing on delivering to schedule while applying permanent solutions.
• Experience working within monthly and weekly control cycles.
• Ability to call and facilitate effective reviews internally and within the supply chain, prioritising actions and accountability to meet targets.
• Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical or engineering preferred
• Technical/Functional/Leadership Skills: production processes, supply planning, RCA, Lean Six Sigma, automation, OEE, MES
• Ability to train and educate inexperienced suppliers and groups toward mastering standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Daily liaison and supply base management for Quality, Cost and Delivery.
• Resolves supplier issues and concerns threatening supply and demand.
• Drives Manufacturing Performance KPI reviews daily/weekly.
• Delivers and manages an effective and flexible supply base.
• Ensures manufacturing capacity is optimised to deliver future demand.
• Assesses performance in the supply base to increase output without impacting quality.
• Works with the Supplier to deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensures good Project Management principles are applied and risks, issues and opportunities are communicated.
