Job summary

Unisearch Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in machinery equipment globally. Based in Senai, you will identify new business with EMS providers, OEMs, and semiconductor manufacturers, and craft GTM plans for priority regions.

You will nurture relationships with C-level buyers, recruit and expand distributors, and lead end-to-end sales processes from prospecting to closing, coordinating with application engineers and HQ China for demos and trials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in B2B sales or business development of capital equipment, machinery, robotic automation or semiconductor solutions.
• Proven record of closing high-value, technical deals with long sales cycles.
• Existing network within EMS, SMT, electronics or semiconductor manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken and written), to work with global customers and China HQ.
• Willing to travel globally and frequently.
• Self-driven, comfortable operating in a new role with limited structure.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business with EMS providers, OEMs and semiconductor/electronics manufacturers.
• Develop go-to-market plans for priority regions and industry segments.
• Build and manage relationships with key accounts and C-level decision makers.
• Recruit, manage and grow distributors and channel partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical presentations, proposals, pricing, negotiation and closing.
• Work with application engineers and HQ China on demos, trials and customer requirements.
• Represent Company at trade shows and industry events (e.g. SEMICON, NEPCON, Productronica).
• Track market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform product and pricing strategy.
• Report on pipeline, forecasts and results to the Director.
