Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to orchestrate end-to-end logistics operations within the regional distribution network. You will oversee daily freight movements, monitor transit milestones, and ensure compliance with cross-border documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in logistics or related field, plus experience in land transport coordination and use of transport management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a relevant field of study.
• Prior experience in land transportation coordination, freight dispatching, or logistics quality monitoring.
• Practical familiarity with transport management systems, digital tracking tools, or cross-border shipping documentation.
• Strong competence in spreadsheet applications for data compilation, operational reporting, and performance evaluation.
• Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaison with cross-border partners and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight movements and linehaul capacity across internal transport resources and external logistics vendors to maintain delivery continuity.
• Monitor real-time transit milestones and dashboards to identify bottlenecks, reduce dwell times, and uphold service level agreements.
• Administer cross-border freight compliance, including customs clearance workflows, transport documentation, and proof-of-delivery reconciliation.
• Investigate delivery anomalies and transit disruptions, conducting root cause assessments to execute timely corrective actions and recovery solutions.
• Optimise dynamic resource deployment across vehicles, personnel, and distribution facilities to manage volume fluctuations and peak operational periods effectively.
