Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Senior Strategic Planning Manager to align global supply chain strategies with regional and divisional partners. The role involves leading site assessments for technology rollouts and launches, developing metrics, and driving end-to-end network optimization across the organization.

The candidate should have eight+ years of cross-functional experience in manufacturing or supply chain, strong financial acumen, and a Bachelor Degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of cross-functional experience across manufacturing sites or divisional supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated background in global supply chain network optimization, strategic planning, and project management.
• Strong financial acumen alongside practical experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• High proficiency in English with clear communication skills across multi-level stakeholder networks.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead site selection assessments for new technology rollouts and regional product launches.
• Develop strategic processes and execution metrics to position the supply network for future expansion.
• Partner with global sourcing units and manufacturing facilities to drive end-to-end network optimization projects.
• Analyze cross-functional operational datasets to identify trends and guide capital investment decisions.
• Evaluate industry best practices outside the sector to drive continuous performance improvements across planning and delivery functions.
