Job summary

Wilhelmsen group seeks an experienced Maritime Logistics Manager to lead Agency, Project Cargo, and Breakbulk operations from Malaysia. You will drive growth, secure customers, and coordinate with cargo owners, shipowners, and partners to deliver profitable, compliant logistics solutions.

Based in Port Klang or Pasir Gudang, the role requires strong maritime knowledge, business development acumen, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maritime logistics, shipping, project cargo, or breakbulk operations.
• Strong business development and commercial management skills.
• Sound understanding of maritime operations, port activities, and logistics solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities, manage risks, and deliver profitable outcomes.
• Results-driven, analytical, and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive Agency, Project Cargo, and Breakbulk business growth to achieve budget and profitability targets.
• Identify and secure new customers, cargo opportunities, trade lanes, and revenue streams.
• Build strong relationships with cargo owners, charterers, shipowners, freight forwarders, and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop competitive commercial proposals, quotations, and logistics solutions for customers.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to expand cross-border business opportunities.
• Coordinate with ports, terminals, transporters, warehouses, and service providers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive continuous business growth.
• Promote operational excellence, continuous improvement, and compliance with corporate governance standards.
