Job summary

SINOTRANS Sabah is seeking a Logistics Officer to handle vessel arrival and departure arrangements, prepare shipping documents and port clearance, and coordinate with Customs, Immigration, Port Authority and other agencies. You will communicate with vessel masters, customers and port operators, arrange vessel services, crew changes and cargo operations, and participate in daily shipping operations.

Proficiency in English and Malay is essential; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, forwarding or logistics is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay.
• Mandarin speaking and Chinese writing skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle vessel arrival and departure arrangements.
• Prepare shipping documents and port clearance.
• Coordinate with Customs, Immigration, Port Authority and other government agencies.
• Communicate with vessel masters, customers and port operators.
• Arrange vessel services, crew changes and cargo operations.
• Attend vessel boarding and handle daily shipping operations.
