Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia in Muar is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional to lead the finance operations for ST legal entities without on-site finance teams. You will manage month-end close, ensure internal controls, and support procurement with SOX compliance.

The role requires a degree in accounting, professional qualification (ACCA/CPA), at least 3 years audit and 3 years of commercial experience, with a preference for familiarity with US regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting is required.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) is preferred.
• At least 3 years audit experience.
• At least 3 years commercial experience.
• Preferably familiar with US environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Finance Operation of ST legal entities which currently do not have finance team presence on site
• Responsible for month end close process with support from SSC RTR team
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
• Responsible to ensure internal control in place for safeguarding of company asset
• Approver for procurement process and SOX control
• Responsible to ensure full compliance of accounting standards & local legal rules & regulations with the support from local consultant.
• Responsible to ensure timely submission of tax filing and compliance to local tax rules & regulations with the support from local consultant.
