Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our Global Business Services in Kuala Lumpur. You will support Record to Closing, payroll accounting, GL month-end close, and analysis of business results, contributing to a standardized transfer roadmap and Sox controls.

We value a recognized Accounting degree, 3+ years of related experience, exposure to Shared Service Centers, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting with relevant working experience.
• More than 3 years of experience in related field.
• Preferably with experience from Shared Service Center.
• Preferably with professional qualification (CPA/ACCA).
• Computer literate with MS Office tools, preferably with exposure to SAP.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Open to work in different time zones (i.e. CET).

Responsibilities

• To support Record to Closing services in global business services (GBS).
• To support payroll accounting task.
• To support GL month end closing.
• To support analysis of business result.
• To participate in expansion of GL & Reporting transfer roadmap.
• To participate in work process design, alignment & policy deployment.
