Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia seeks a finance professional to lead on-site finance operations for entities without a local finance team. You will drive month-end close with SSC RTR support and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for stakeholders.

You will also establish strong internal controls to safeguard assets, approve procurement processes, and manage SOX compliance. Tax filings and local regulatory obligations will be handled with consultant support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years audit experience.
• Minimum 3 years commercial/financial experience.
• Familiarity with US business environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Finance operation for local ST entities with no on-site finance team.
• Responsible for month end close with support from SSC RTR team.
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Approve procurement processes and ensure SOX compliance.
• Ensure timely tax filings and local regulatory compliance with consultant support.
