Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Finance Operations professional to lead finance activities for ST entities on site and to renew our onboarding processes with recruitment vendors. The role includes month-end close, internal controls, tax compliance, and procurement approvals, with close collaboration with local consultants.

You will drive timely financial reporting, safeguard company assets, and contribute to a diverse and compliant workplace aligned with ST standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years audit experience
• Minimum 3 years commercial experience
• Proficiency in Korean language required
• Degree in Accounting with professional qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment, and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

• Responsible for Finance Operation of ST legal entities which currently do not have finance team presence on site
• Responsible for month end close process with support from SSC RTR team
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
• Responsible to ensure internal control in place for safeguarding of company asset
• Approver for procurement process and SOX control
• Responsible to ensure full compliance of accounting standards & local legal rules & regulations with the support from local consultant.
• Responsible to ensure timely submission of tax filing and compliance to local tax rules & regulations with the support from local consultant.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Accounting
• Preferably with Professional Qualification (for e.g. ACCA, CPA, etc.)
• At least with 3 years audit experience
• At least with 3 years commercial experience
• Must be proficient in Korean language
