Job summary

Baxter International in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage the full invoice processing cycle within our Shared Service Centre, ensuring accuracy and timely payments across countries.

You will enter, review, and adjust invoices, resolve discrepancies, conduct GL reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements while upholding strong internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Payable or related finance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable procedures and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and adjust invoices, debit notes, and credit notes, ensuring timely processing.
• Partner with in-country teams to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Conduct general ledger and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiency and improvements and present solutions.
• Review and improve Accounts policies and procedures to support changes.
• Provide hands-on support during onboarding of new countries into the Shared Service Centre.
• Uphold strong internal controls while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
