Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage the complete invoice processing cycle within our Global Shared Service Centre, reporting to the Global Invoice Processing Supervisor.

You will collaborate across countries, uphold internal controls, and drive continuous improvements while handling invoices, reconciliations, and vendor inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Payable or related finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Practical experience with accounting/financial systems.
• Strong understanding of AP procedures and internal controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience handling invoice/payment issues with internal or external customers.
• Strong communication skills and professional written/verbal communication.
• Excellent organization and ability to balance priorities.
• Customer-focused, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Enter, review, and adjust invoices, debit notes, and credit notes, ensuring timely processing and compliance.
• Collaborate with in-country teams to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Perform general ledger and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and present solutions.
• Support review and improvement of AP policies and procedures.
• Assist during transition of new countries into the Shared Service Centre.
• Maintain strong internal controls while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
