Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Master in Industrial Engineering or MBA is an advantage.
• Lean Silver Certificate or Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of working experiences in Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Proven track record of change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements and cost reduction programs.
• Strong knowledge of IE tools such as work measurement, simulation, process mapping and operations research.
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Visio, Project, and e-mail skills required.
• Proficiency in MES / SAP system preferable.

Responsibilities

• Establish and clearly communicate all Industrial Engineering strategies for global projects and initiatives for respective workcell or section.
• Insure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout all regions worldwide in accordance with the global direction.
• Insure the standardization of data within the Jabil systems.
• Work with the Departmental/Functional Manager to improve the current value stream process and drive cost savings.
• Initiate and manage cost saving projects and provide Industrial Engineers and their managers training and mentoring globally.
• Define training and competency requirements for all Industrial Engineering functions.
• Identity, communicate and/or implement new technical solutions related to IE and manufacturing processes.
• Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization.
• Report and drive improvement globally through the monitoring of the key Industrial Engineering metrics.
• Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering succession plan.
