Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the IE team, drive operational excellence, standardise processes, and improve performance, quality, and cost efficiency on site.

You will establish global and regional IE strategies, mentor engineers, monitor metrics, develop process flow charts, and ensure data integrity while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering; Master's or MBA is an advantage.
• Lean Silver Certificate or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of IE experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IE tools: work measurement, simulation, process mapping, and operations research.
• Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate global and regional IE strategies across the department.
• Coach, mentor, recruit, and retain top IE talent.
• Monitor IE metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Develop and maintain site process flow charts, department forecasts, and succession plans.
• Standardise processes and system configurations (e.g. SAP, MES, IEDB) across the site.
• Support the Lean organisation by building a solid process foundation and ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and company security policies.
