Job summary

Bradken is a global manufacturer of custom-engineered products and solutions for the resources sector. As an HR Coordinator, you will provide People & Culture support across the employee lifecycle and foreign worker management in Merlimau, Malaysia.

You will coordinate onboarding, manage work permits, maintain records, and collaborate with leaders to deliver HR solutions while ensuring compliance with immigration and employment requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating foreign worker administration.
• Knowledge of immigration and employment compliance.
• Experience in recruitment and onboarding support.
• Ability to liaise with government agencies and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and employment processes for foreign workers.
• Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations and related documentation.
• Monitor passport, visa, medical examination, and permit validity requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies, employment agents, embassies, and external providers.
• Maintain accurate foreign worker records and databases.
• Coordinate arrivals, accommodation, transportation, and repatriation activities.
• Support employee welfare, grievance management, and disciplinary processes where required.
• Ensure accommodation standards meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare workforce reports, compliance metrics, and permit status updates.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for HR processes, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives, projects, and employment compliance activities.
• Partner with leaders to deliver effective people solutions.
• Update and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Contribute to local and global People & Culture improvement projects.
• Support recruitment activities for wage employees, including posting job advertisements and coordinating candidate administration.
• Review applications and support the initial screening process.
• Prepare and maintain Position Descriptions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Coordinate new starter documentation and onboarding activities.
• Partner with site leaders and Safety teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
