Job summary

Bradken is seeking an HR Coordinator in Merlimau Site, Malaysia (on-site). You will provide People & Culture support across the employee lifecycle, including foreign worker management and immigration compliance, partnering with leaders to deliver HR solutions and an engaging employee experience.

You will coordinate onboarding and onboarding-related processes, manage work permits, and maintain accurate records while assisting with welfare and policy communications across local and global HR

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating HR across the employee lifecycle.
• Knowledge of immigration and employment requirements.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and employment processes for foreign workers.
• Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and related documentation.
• Monitor passport, visa, medical examinations, and permit validity requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies, employment agents, embassies, and external providers.
• Maintain accurate foreign worker records and databases.
• Coordinate arrivals, accommodation, transportation, and repatriation activities.
• Support employee welfare, grievance management, and disciplinary processes as required.
• Ensure accommodation standards meet applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare workforce reports, compliance metrics, and permit status updates.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Support recruitment activities for wage employees, including posting job advertisements and coordinating candidate administration.
• Review applications and support the initial screening process.
• Prepare and maintain Position Descriptions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Coordinate new starter documentation and onboarding activities.
• Partner with site leaders and Safety teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
