Job summary

Sidel is seeking an experienced Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to join our field service team. You will test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants, handle non-conformities, and prepare technical reports while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role requires 3 years of field activity experience in the beverage industry, a solid technical background in Mechanical/Automation/Electrical/Process, and the ability to travel up to 90% internationally; aseptic knowledge and Sidel portfolio

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in field activities.
• Experience in the beverage industry.
• Technical background in Mechanical, Automation, Electrical or Process.
• Knowledge of Sidel Portfolio is a plus.
• Aseptic knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications
• Properly handle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities
• Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction
• Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules and customer rules
• Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site
• Coach junior colleagues on the on-site behaviour, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables
• Report to the ISM for team site activities for Global product support FSEs Level 2 & 3
• Support Global Product Training in the creation, update and revision of technical questionnaires related to FSE
• Qualification Program
• Act as "Assessor" of the FSE/s subject to qualification program during the practical assessment module, mainly at the customer site, releasing the relevant evaluation report on time/in full.
