Job summary

Jetour Malaysia is seeking an International Business Development professional to identify and develop export opportunities, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end export operations from order to delivery. You will liaise with MITI and customs authorities while coordinating documentation, freight, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 4–7 years in export or automotive trade, strong English communication, and the ability to work across a multicultural, international team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in International Business, International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive or related disciplines.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in export business, international trade, business development or automotive export operations.
• Experience in CBU vehicle or automotive parts export will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, customs clearance, international shipping and payment methods such as T/T and L/C.
• Experience liaising with MITI, Customs or other relevant government agencies on export-related matters will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of automotive products and international market requirements.
• Strong English communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate with China headquarters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
• Willing to undertake international travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new export opportunities and build strong relationships with overseas distributors, dealers and business partners across target markets.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and manage export sales contracts in line with company policies and international trade practices.
• Manage export orders from confirmation to vehicle delivery, including vehicle availability, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), quality checks and shipment readiness.
• Liaise with MITI (Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry), Customs and relevant Malaysian government agencies on export approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and international shipment arrangements, and monitor delivery progress.
• Maintain strong relationships with overseas customers and business partners, respond to enquiries and resolve commercial or operational issues.
• Ensure export activities comply with applicable Malaysian and international trade regulations, customs requirements and destination-market standards.
• Monitor automotive market trends, competitor activities, regulations and customer requirements to identify business opportunities and support market planning.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Planning and other teams to ensure smooth export execution and customer satisfaction.
