Job summary

Jetour Malaysia is seeking an experienced International Business Development professional to identify and develop new export opportunities and manage relationships with overseas distributors, dealers and partners across target markets.

You will coordinate end-to-end export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, shipments and regulatory liaison with MITI and other authorities, while collaborating with Sales, Finance and Logistics to ensure timely delivery and compliant trade

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in International Business, International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive or related disciplines.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in export business, international trade, business development or automotive export operations.
• Experience liaising with MITI, Customs or government agencies on export matters is a plus.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, customs clearance and international shipping.
• Strong English communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new export opportunities and build relationships with overseas distributors, dealers and partners.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and manage export sales contracts.
• End-to-End export management from confirmation to vehicle delivery including PDI and shipment readiness.
• Liaise with MITI, Customs and relevant agencies on export approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and international shipment arrangements.
• Maintain relationships with overseas customers and resolve commercial or operational issues.
• Ensure export activities comply with trade regulations and market standards.
• Monitor automotive market trends and support market planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and Product Planning.

• International Business Development: Identify and develop new export opportunities and build strong relationships with overseas distributors, dealers and business partners across target markets.
• Commercial Management: Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and manage export sales contracts in line with company policies and international trade practices.
• End-to-End Export Management: Manage export orders from confirmation to vehicle delivery, including vehicle availability, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), quality checks and shipment readiness.
• Government & Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with MITI (Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry), Customs and relevant Malaysian government agencies on export approvals, permits and regulatory requirements.
• Export & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate export documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding and international shipment arrangements, and monitor delivery progress.
• Customer & Distributor Management: Maintain strong relationships with overseas customers and business partners, respond to enquiries and resolve commercial or operational issues.
• Trade Compliance: Ensure export activities comply with applicable Malaysian and international trade regulations, customs requirements and destination-market standards.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor automotive market trends, competitor activities, regulations and customer requirements to identify business opportunities and support market planning.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Product Planning and other relevant teams to ensure smooth export execution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in International Business, International Trade, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive or related disciplines.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in export business, international trade, business development or automotive export operations.
• Experience in CBU vehicle or automotive parts export will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation, customs clearance, international shipping and payment methods such as T/T and L/C.
• Experience liaising with MITI, Customs or other relevant government agencies on export-related matters will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of automotive products and international market requirements is preferred.
• Strong English communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Candidate able to communicate with China headquarters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
• Willing to undertake international travel when required.
