Job summary

LB Aluminium Berhad in Malaysia is hiring an Export Business Development Executive to drive export sales and expand its international market presence from the Kajang facility. The role focuses on identifying new export opportunities, building relationships with overseas clients and managing the export process from initiation to delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Business, International Trade, Commerce or Engineering with 1–3 years in export sales or related fields, strong

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, or Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in export sales, international business development or import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and international trade practices.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Mandarin or other Asian languages preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new export markets and opportunities for aluminium products.
• Build relationships with international clients, distributors and partners.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and offers to overseas clients.
• Coordinate with customs and logistics for compliant shipment processing.
• Manage export documentation including invoices, bills of lading, origin certificates, and customs declarations.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and operations to meet client requirements.
• Develop and implement export sales strategies to grow revenue.
• Negotiate contracts with international buyers.
• Track and report on export sales performance and opportunities.
