Job summary

DHL Germany in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle customs clearance documentation for imports and exports. You will liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate declarations.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field and preferably 1 year of relevant experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple shipments simultaneously and using standard office software.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with customs systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customs clearance documentation for import and export shipments.
• Ensure all customs declarations are accurate and submitted within the required timelines.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, transport providers, and internal stakeholders on clearance matters.
• Verify shipping documents, permits, invoices, packing lists, and other related documentation.
• Provide regular updates on shipment clearance status to customers and internal teams.
