Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Malaysia's Johor area is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Clearance Specialist to join our logistics operations. You will manage import and export documentation, ensure accurate declarations, and coordinate with authorities and partners to keep shipments moving smoothly.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and customs systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with customs systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customs clearance documentation for import and export shipments.
• Ensure all customs declarations are accurate and submitted within the required timelines.
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, transport providers, and internal stakeholders on clearance matters.
• Verify shipping documents, permits, invoices, packing lists, and other related documentation.
• Provide regular updates on shipment clearance status to customers and internal teams.
