Job summary

FedEx Malaysia is seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator to coordinate and manage import and export clearance activities. You will ensure compliance with customs regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and provide exceptional service to our clients.

You will review documents, liaise with customers, freight forwarders and authorities, and stay up to date with regulatory changes to ensure timely and accurate declarations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PC.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent planning, organizing, and accuracy.
• Ability to stay updated on regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review customs documentation to ensure accurate declarations before submission to authorities.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to gather information and resolve inquiries.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate the customs clearance process and resolve issues.
• Stay up to date with changes in customs regulations, trade agreements, and tariff structures.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs declarations and maintain proper documentation.
