Job summary

Jayspire Global Line is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to drive new business and grow container sales and export shipping volume. The role targets exporters, manufacturers, traders and forwarders, with responsibilities spanning lead generation, quotations, negotiations and end-to-end order closures.

You will build relationships with buyers in Malaysia and overseas, coordinate with shipping lines and agents, and support operations on stock and delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of B2B sales experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or container trading.
• Experience in container trading or export shipping sales is a plus.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; strong negotiation and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new customers among exporters, manufacturers, trading companies and freight forwarders.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and follow up to secure bookings.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, agents and internal teams to deliver on customer requirements.
• Maintain relationships with existing accounts while developing new ones.
• Promote and sell containers (20GP, 40GP, 40HC) to buyers in Malaysia and overseas.
• Handle enquiries, quotations and negotiations through to closing.
• Coordinate with Operations on stock availability and delivery.
• Generate leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking and client visits.
• Work with Digital Marketing to convert inquiries into sales.
• Submit daily activity reports and weekly pipeline updates.
• Achieve monthly sales targets for volume, revenue and gross profit.
