Job summary

IMA Automation Malaysia Sdn Bhd, part of IMA Group, is a global leader in automation solutions with a focus on medical devices and industrial applications. Based in Penang, we design, produce, and commercialise advanced assembly systems across international markets.

Senior Project Manager will lead complex engineering projects end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, costs and timelines while ensuring quality, compliance and customer satisfaction on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken communication; stakeholder management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a solutions mindset.
• Ability to supervise, mobilise and motivate a multidisciplinary project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex engineering projects end-to-end.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Manage project costs, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Ensure technical compliance, quality and contractual requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and customers.
• Travel as required for overseas installations and meetings.
