UBCT in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager to lead automation and engineering projects from concept through delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget execution and successful handover.

The role emphasizes experience in industrial automation and strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage. Travel to sites locally or overseas may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience (engineering/technical projects preferred).
• Experience in industrial automation, semiconductor, manufacturing, intralogistics or warehouse automation is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use 2D/3D layouts is advantageous.
• Strong planning, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery against technical requirements, quality, budget and timelines.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (scope, schedule, resources, costs, milestones).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sourcing, fabrication, assembly, software, subcontractors and FSE.
• Act as primary project contact for customers, suppliers and stakeholders with clear communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and costs, and implement corrective actions.
