SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Material Planner to coordinate production planning, material requirements, inventory levels, and supplier deliveries to ensure materials are available on time and production schedules are maintained smoothly.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as part of our growing global automotive group. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or related field, has strong Excel skills, and can liaise in Mandarin with suppliers

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PMC, material planning, production planning, or a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and colleagues; able to communicate in English and Malay for internal and external coordination.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production plans based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
• Calculate material requirements and raise purchase requisitions according to production needs.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and suppliers to ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages, supplier deliveries, and on-time delivery performance.
• Maintain production and material planning records and support related planning and administrative tasks.
