Tan Chong Group is seeking an Executive, Inventory Management in Malaysia. The role focuses on managing spare parts inventory for assigned accounts, forecasting demand, and coordinating procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with a minimum of 2 years of shipping experience.
• Experience in WMS, ERP, MRP, or similar systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manages spare parts inventory for assigned accounts to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Forecasts future demand from sales history to support planning decisions.
• Monitors stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock to ensure timely replenishment.
• Coordinates with suppliers on purchase orders, delivery schedules and improvement initiatives.
• Tracks backorders and liaises with vendors on inquiries, pricing, and shipping.
