Job summary

Autoliv Hirotako Safety Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Materials Planner to plan, order and schedule the supply of materials and components for production in Selangor. You will run monthly MRP, monitor supplier delivery performance, coordinate import of overseas materials, and prepare inventory reports for management.

The role requires a degree and 5 years of related experience, with strong MS Office skills and bilingual Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in materials planning or related field.
• Bilingual: Bahasa Malaysia and English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order and schedule the supply of materials to ensure continuous production.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability.
• Run monthly MRP to support materials planning activities.
• Liaise with engineering, sales and project leaders on forecasts and changes.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide supplier performance data.
