Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support AP SMAX tickets, manage inquiries, and verify banking data per CBV procedures. You’ll handle expense claims, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to audits with meticulous attention to detail.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, plus strong English communication and SAP/Concur familiarity. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Knowledge in AP Invoice Process, Travel & Expenses claims; SSC experience is an advantage.
• Shift hours may apply for EMEA and America markets.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP/Concur experience preferred.
• Team player, meticulous and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle AP SMAX ticketing to provide support and resolve user issues promptly.
• Manage group mailbox queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Validate and update vendor and customer bank information per CBV procedures.
• Expenses report validation and verification of submissions from employees.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific T&E policy.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports for T&E rules by country.
• Participate in compliance programs and ad-hoc team tasks.
• Adhere to corporate procedures, policies and internal guidelines.
• Maintain evidence and documentation for internal/external audits.
• Liaise with Local Services and team members to maintain good relations.
• Support local services in internal and external audits.
• Process other AP related transactions per local requests and activity split.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and communication of issues.
• Update working instructions and SOPs in a timely manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
