Job summary

Evonik Malaysia is recruiting an Analyst, Accounts Payable (US) for a 6-month period to support invoice processing, policy compliance and month-end closing. The role collaborates with Local Services and COE, and requires accuracy, timely responses to queries, and effective teamwork across the AP function.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance/Accounting and has 2+ years of AP experience, with SAP and MS Office proficiency, and strong verbal and written English skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and SAP is preferred.
• Team player with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Shift hours may apply for America market portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to corporate procedures and internal guidelines; ensure compliance and maintain proper documentation.
• Validate and post 3rd party invoices, InterCo invoices and employee claims in SAP.
• Collaborate with Local Services and COE to ensure smooth AP operations.
• Process AP transactions in line with SLAs and activity split.
• Respond to group mailbox queries accurately and timely; escalate as needed.
• Support month-end closing and continuous improvement of AP processes.
