Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Global Support Centre Level 1 Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur office. You will deliver first-level, remote technical support for our enterprise storage and software solutions, assisting customers and field teams with hardware and software configuration issues and product inquiries.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Aptitude to provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to manage multiple issues in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly for training and work with global teams.
• Experience with Storage Area Network or related software products.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level, remote technical support to Hitachi Vantara customers and field teams.
• Assist in resolving hardware/software configuration issues and product failures.
• Manage cases and communicate status to leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers and teams in a high-volume environment.
• Contribute to knowledge base with documented problems and solutions.
• Attend training and support 24x7x365 shifts, including weekends/holidays.
