Hitachi Vantara in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Global Support Centre Level 1 Engineer to provide first-level remote technical support for enterprise storage solutions. You will resolve hardware/software issues, manage customer cases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Training, growth, and 24x7 support are core parts of the role. The position requires a four-year degree or equivalent and strong English writing, with travel for training and a passion for customer service.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or equivalent work-related experience.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly for training.
• Experience with Storage Area Network and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level, remote technical support to Hitachi Vantara customers and field teams.
• Assist in resolution of hardware/software configuration problems and inquiries.
• Perform problem and customer situation management; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers in a high pressure environment.
• Own and track customer issues using case tracking systems; maintain documentation.
