Job summary

Suntory Holdings Limited Malaysia is seeking a dedicated GL & Reporting Executive to ensure accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage month-end closings and deliver reliable financial insights.

The position supports audits, tax compliance, and process improvements within a dynamic FMCG environment. The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in GL accounting or financial reporting.
• Exposure to external audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Support statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits.
• Monitor and analyze financial results, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in cash flow reporting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure policy compliance and internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and finance transformation projects.
• Support system enhancements and finance-related projects as needed.
