Job summary

Malay-Sino Chemical Industries Sdn Bhd (Lahat) is seeking an experienced accounting professional to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. You will manage monthly management accounts, tax computations, and coordinate with auditors while leading a small team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has at least five years of relevant experience, and is proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with SAP preferred; other ERPs considered.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Audit coordination and tax matters experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly consolidated accounts, capital commitment reports, and draft audited financial statements.
• Review monthly analyses including variance analysis, working capital, CAPEX, key financial ratios, FX exposure, and related-party transactions (RPT).
• Ensure timely accounting entries and financial records in the SAP system.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits and provide reports and explanations.
• Prepare corporate tax estimates and coordinate with external tax agents on computations and submissions.
• Review corporate tax computations and ensure compliance with regulations and deadlines.
• Manage tax-enquiries from LHDN and RMCD.
• Monitor SST-02 returns and other statutory reports.
• Guide, train, coordinate, and supervise subordinates to ensure efficient accounting activities.
