Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced GL Manager to join our fast-paced Finance Shared Services team. You will oversee financial close processes, technical accounting compliance, and complex reconciliations in a hands-on leadership role.

You will shape and standardize core accounting processes, establish internal controls, and drive ERP/system enhancements as the organization scales, while mentoring a team of GL accountants and collaborating with regional Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) required.
• 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Workday) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEC (Month-End, End-of-Year) close and consolidation workflows.
• Oversee multi-entity, multi-currency GL accounting and intercompany eliminations.
• Act as SME on IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP and coordinate with auditors.
