Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Significant experience as a General Ledger Accountant.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger: record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare Financial Reports: create and maintain balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure Compliance: ensure records comply with regulatory standards and procedures.
• Support Audits: collaborate with internal and external auditors and provide documentation.
• Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and identify trends.
• Authorize balance sheet reconciliations and ensure account accuracy.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review and approve financial reports for management and statutory purposes.
• Implement and enforce internal controls over GL transactions.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements for GL operations.
• Provide documentation during audits.
