Job summary

A global specialist geotechnical contractor, part of a large international construction group, seeks a senior technical leader in Petaling Jaya to manage the Technical Department across multiple countries.

You will drive technical and commercial collaboration during tenders and project delivery, provide regional support, and coordinate engineering design reviews with clients and consultants, ensuring engineering excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Post-graduate degree or PE status in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
Must be competent in geotechnical software PLAXIS and Slope/W.
Minimum 10 years in geotechnical fields; managerial experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering and Ground Improvement Technology.

Responsibilities

Lead the Technical Department across multiple countries.
Support Business Development during tenders and Operations during project delivery on technical matters.
Provide technical support to the wider regional team.
Oversee engineering designs and coordinate design reviews with clients and consultants.
Lead engineers in resourcing, workload planning, mentoring and performance management.
