Job summary

JP Morgan Chase in Malaysia is seeking a Trade Lifecycle Analyst in Market Operations. You will support the end-to-end processing of foreign exchange trades and FX derivatives, from confirmation through settlement and investigation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of FX and FX derivatives products and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of payment processing concepts and SWIFT formats.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate breaks.
• Clear written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines.
• High attention to detail in high-volume operations.
• Control mindset to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Effective stakeholder management and escalation capability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and day-to-day execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Process FX and derivatives confirmations and ensure timely matching.
• Investigate breaks and resolve settlement mismatches within SLAs.
• Review lifecycle events to identify risks and apply controls.
• Release and monitor payments accurately, escalate urgent issues.
• Maintain client and reference data to support processing and reporting.
• Investigate post-settlement breaks and coordinate with partners.
• Create and publish daily performance and risk reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to improve service.
• Escalate issues with documentation, impact assessment, and next steps.
• Participate in initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and controls.
