Job summary

JP Morgan Chase Bank Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Trade Lifecycle Analyst to support FX and FX derivatives trade confirmation, settlement, and investigation, ensuring timely matching and accurate payments in a fast-paced, risk-aware environment.

You will collaborate with Trading, Front Office, Technology, Risk, and Operations to deliver high-quality outcomes, develop reporting, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong controls and client service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of FX and FX derivatives products and lifecycle concepts.
• Knowledge of payment processing concepts, including SWIFT formats and settlement practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to investigate breaks and root causes.

Responsibilities

• Process FX and derivatives confirmations, ensuring timely matching within defined timeframes.
• Resolve confirmations and settlements mismatches by investigating root causes and driving closure within SLAs.
• Review trades and lifecycle events to identify control gaps, risks, and exceptions; apply preventive/detective controls.
• Release and monitor payments accurately, escalating time-sensitive issues when needed.
• Maintain client and business reference data to support accurate processing and downstream reporting.
• Investigate post-settlement breaks and payment exceptions, coordinating with partners to resolve issues.
• Create and publish daily performance and risk reporting, highlighting trends and insights.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to improve responsiveness and service quality.
• Escalate issues promptly with documentation, impact assessment, and next steps; participate in strategic workflow improvements.
