Job summary

Avante Design (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Sales Consultant to guide clients through furniture selections and design proposals while maintaining a premium showroom experience.

You will engage customers, prepare tailored proposals, and coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries. The role requires strong communication in English and Chinese and a passion for sales and interior design.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Experience: 1+ years of retail sales in furniture, interior design, or home decor preferred.
• Languages: English and Chinese fluency to support core client base.
• Attributes: Proactive, customer-centric, articulate with strong interpersonal skills.
• Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Brand Representation: warmly welcome walk-in customers and deliver an exceptional retail experience.
• Consultative Design & Proposals: assess client needs, conduct site visits, and curate custom furniture proposals.
• Expert Advisory & Product Education: guide clients on material quality, craftsmanship, and market advantages.
• Showroom Maintenance: keep showroom floor well-maintained, styled, and welcoming.
• Pipeline, Sales Tracking & Targets: track leads, maintain pipeline, and achieve quarterly targets.
• Logistics & Delivery Operations: coordinate delivery schedules and attend high-value on-site deliveries when required.
• Team Collaboration: work with colleagues to foster a supportive environment and meet sales goals.
