The ideal candidate can communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, has a related degree, and can handle basic rendering tools. Salary is competitive with high commission and parking perks.

Qualificações

• Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia is required for client and site communication.
• Diploma/degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in design/rendering software is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Own transportation for site visits and meetings.

Responsabilidades

An interior design and custom cabinetry firm based in Subang Jaya, Selangor is seeking a Design Consultant should have a strong interest in design to conduct initial consultations with clients, prepare space layouts and design proposals, present design concepts, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the end-to-end renovation process.

Key responsibilities

Conduct initial consultations with walk-in and prospective clients to understand their lifestyle needs, space planning, and budget

Prepare space layouts, design proposals, material selection schedules (bespoke cabinetry, paneling, surface finishes)

Present design concepts and close project deals effectively

Liaise with in-house technical team, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure smooth design execution

Maintain strong client relationships throughout the end-to-end renovation process

About you

Fluency in Mandarin (Required to communicate with clients and site contractors), English, and Bahasa Malaysia

Background, diploma, or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Sales, or related field

Basic proficiency in design/rendering software (AutoCAD, Coohom, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or Photoshop) is an advantage

Self-motivated, strong negotiation skills, and a passionate team player

Possess own transportation (site visits/client meetings)
