Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Risks Manager to lead governance of fund administration, NAV calculation and related risk controls. The role demands deep knowledge of investment funds, financial markets, and custody operations, with a track record in risk management, control testing and collaboration with stakeholders.

You will partner with finance, operations and technology teams to strengthen controls, drive process improvements and ensure compliance with IFRS

Qualifications

University degree and/or relevant professional training.
Typically 5–10 years of related experiences in Investment/Portfolio/Program & Operational Management.
Good knowledge about Fund Industry, products and Financial Markets.
Knowledge of NAV calculation, fund administration and settlement timelines.
Ability to identify control gaps and propose practical solutions.
Exposure to generic operational risk framework is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Risk & Control Governance from BAU, including control testing and assessing Design/Operational Effectiveness of FA processes.
BAU Technical and Change Support (Change Control, Enhancement requests & training).
Support NAV calculation, fund administration, and financial reporting processes.
